Do you ever have a hard time with motivation? Or maybe you’re just out of ideas?
Growing up, I liked doing my homework in front of the TV. Probably not the best way to stay focused, but even as an introvert I liked the idea of knowing something else was going on near me.
Whether you’re an extrovert, introvert, or somewhere in between, you might enjoy working in the presence of others. Some call this “ambient sociability”, or “playing alone together”. I’d like to say our space was “creating with the presence of others”.
Some of us read about red and pink flowers for inspiration while others wrote. One person painted a reminder that sometimes we think we’re falling only to discover we’re actually rising. Another brainstormed for her blog, Purpose Over Fear (which I highly recommend checking out). Together, we waited on God, opened up breakout rooms for 1:1 consultations, and joined together in our tasks of creating.
