Looking Forward to 2026
By Project Arctos
Here are a few points our team would like to emphasize as we enter 2026:
Faith, Hope, and Love
1 Corinthians 13:3 reads, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
Faith: Peter writes, “In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:6-7, ESV).
In a time of turbulence, we are called to hope in God and walk by faith. No matter what happens, may we walk in Christ and not in the ways of this world. May our hearts be set on Christ and who He is, not on the things of this world. May our communities seek what is found in Christ and not the comforts of this world.
May we walk in this season by faith, not by sight.
Hope: It’s easy to skip to love, but faith and hope also remain. In a time when the world is full of turbulence, where there are wars and rumors of wars, this is a time when we seek for our God of hope to overflow our lives with hope by His Spirit (see Romans 15:13). Hope is an expectation of a future good. As the KRC (Kingdom Resources for Christ, parent organization of Project Arctos) theme song goes, “something good is going to happen”. We may not see it in our lifetimes, but we hold to this hope.
May we live this season not in despair, but in hope.
Love: As Brandon shared in Issue 79, we have a call, a command, to love one another; and the importance of this command is ever so needed in this upcoming season:
Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. (1 John 2:7-11, NKJV)
May we, as Christ calls us to daily, walk in love.
The Project Arctos team is small and mighty, just some everyday Christians doing what we can with what God has given us to help us all Commune, Create, and Connect as vibrant citizens of His Kingdom.
If you’re into doing the same, consider joining us as a writer, graphic artist, podcaster, narrator, print or web editor, workshop leader, song writer, social media specialist, or more.

In this edition, Lilia writes an important piece asking why community is so difficult. Tiffany follows with a thought-provoking piece exploring generational anxiety. Finally, Maria reflects upon her experiences in different Christian settings, both the highs and lows, and how they have shaped her expectations and hopes for what it means to be part of the big “C” Church.
