(1943 - 2020)

Project Arctos exists as a branch of Kingdom Resources for Christ (KRC), a ministry started primarily through Chinese and Taiwanese members of the Church. As part of this legacy, we want to honor the memory of Dr. Yinkann Wen with this short memorial.

On June 11, 2020, one of the core members of KRC, Dr. Yinkann Wen, passed away and went to be with the Lord.

Outside of his efforts as an editor of the KRC magazine, Dr. Wen served as an economist at the World Bank and as a deacon and co-worker at the Chinese Bible Church of Maryland. In 1995, sensing a call to follow God as a professional tentmaker (ministering to people’s spiritual needs while earning money through other means), he served as a professor at National Dong Hwa University in Taiwan and also served in Taiwan’s Crown Financial Ministry. He also served in Streams of Water, a ministry caring for single parents.

Dr. Wen always approached our team with a fun smile and you could sense his support in our interactions. We are deeply thankful for his faithfulness to God’s call and encourage you to learn more about how God moved in and through him. We hope and pray his memory may serve as an encouragement to you of God’s faithfulness and goodness.
